The record should identify jurisdiction, primary official source URL, authority type, exact section or page, effective date, last-verified timestamp, reviewer identity, superseded status, and monitoring status.
AI-generated content
AI-generated citations and legal propositions are not considered verified merely because they look plausible. They require independent review before publication.
Case databases can help confirm that cases exist, but subsequent-treatment research may require tools or professional review beyond basic existence checks.
Monitoring
Source URLs should be monitored for broken links, content changes, effective-date changes, and supersession.
When a source changes, the related content should move to review-required status until a reviewer confirms whether the public page remains accurate.
