Terms of Service

1. Not Legal Advice
CourtForm AI is a form-filling tool, not a law firm, legal referral service, attorney referral service, or attorney recommendation service. We do not provide legal advice, legal guidance, legal representation, or legal recommendations of any kind. Nothing on this platform constitutes an attorney-client relationship. If you have questions about your legal situation, you must consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
2. What CourtForm AI Does
CourtForm AI helps users fill recognized blank fields of court PDF forms that they supply and assemble selected text-based document templates. We place user-provided answers into PDF fields or template placeholders, or preserve them in an encrypted answer packet when direct PDF filling is unavailable. We do not select terms, interpret answers, validate legal sufficiency, rewrite for legal effect, correct legal issues, or assess whether a document is appropriate. Users are solely responsible for their answers, document review, signing formalities, and any decision to use or file a document.
3. Court Forms and Text Templates
CourtForm AI does not provide, host, or distribute official court forms. Users must supply court PDFs obtained from official sources. Separately, CourtForm AI provides general text-document templates for automated assembly. Those templates are not official forms, are not tailored legal advice, may not satisfy the law of every jurisdiction, and may require attorney review, witnesses, notarization, filing, recording, or additional language.
4. Data Retention
Uploaded PDFs, generated text documents, answers, interview responses, and session data are temporary and are scheduled for deletion within 1 hour of document completion or session expiration. We do not sell personal information entered during document assembly. When a user requests provider contact, CourtForm AI may transmit only the user's contact information, county, state, language, broad document or case category, and selected broad service categories to matching independent providers under the user's exclusive or competitive routing choice. CourtForm AI does not send completed documents, uploaded materials, answer packets, answers, attachments, summaries, or detailed facts to providers.
5. Document Delivery and Optional Provider Contact
CourtForm AI only delivers completed documents to the filer. CourtForm AI does not send legal documents to attorneys, law firms, paralegals, document preparers, or other providers. Users may separately request provider contact by an independent local provider, which may be an attorney, document-preparation provider, interpreter, notary, process server, or other court-support provider depending on availability, county, language, and the selected broad service category. If a provider wants forms, answers, documents, or other case details, the provider must request them directly from the user after contact, and the user may choose whether to share them. Independent providers are not employees of CourtForm AI. CourtForm AI does not guarantee that any provider will accept a matter, provide legal advice, represent a user, file documents, or achieve any legal outcome.
6. Provider Accounts
Providers who register on CourtForm AI are independent businesses and professionals. Providers are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, franchisees, representatives, or supervised contractors of CourtForm AI. CourtForm AI does not control, direct, supervise, endorse, warrant, or guarantee any provider's legal judgment, professional judgment, work product, services, availability, communications, fees, advice, representation, filings, client intake decisions, or outcomes.
Each provider agrees to: (a) hold and maintain every license, registration, bond, certification, insurance policy, authorization, court approval, or professional credential required for the services the provider advertises or performs; (b) comply with all applicable state bar rules, advertising rules, referral-service rules, solicitation rules, unauthorized-practice-of-law restrictions, privacy rules, confidentiality duties, conflicts rules, licensing rules, fee rules, consumer-protection laws, telemarketing laws, electronic-communications laws, and tax obligations; (c) provide truthful, current, and non-misleading profile, coverage, credential, pricing, and availability information; (d) perform any conflict check, identity check, suitability review, and engagement screening required before contacting, advising, accepting, representing, or charging any user; and (e) use the dashboard only for lawful provider contact coordination and services actually requested by the user.
Providers may not state or imply that CourtForm AI certifies them, guarantees them, recommends them as the best provider, guarantees a legal result, supervises their work, creates an attorney-client relationship, or has reviewed the provider's legal or professional compliance. Providers may not use CourtForm AI leads for harassment, spam, unlawful solicitation, resale, data brokering, list building, unrelated advertising, or services outside the user's request.
7. Provider Selector, Routing, and Lead Delivery
CourtForm AI may route user requests to providers using automated and manual factors that may include provider category, requested service, state, county, case type, document category, language, lead-reception status, subscription status, coverage settings, availability settings, Head Start or priority status, conflict-check state, user selection, randomization, rotation, capacity, quality-control status, compliance status, advertising placement, and operational safety controls. CourtForm AI may change routing logic at any time to protect users, improve platform performance, comply with law, prevent abuse, or manage marketplace quality.
A lead means that CourtForm AI has transmitted limited provider contact information, location, language, and broad service or case-category information. A lead never includes completed forms, uploaded materials, answer packets, answers, attachments, summaries, or detailed facts from CourtForm AI. A lead is not a guaranteed client, retained matter, qualified case, exclusive relationship, legal referral, endorsement, recommendation, promise of revenue, or guarantee that the user can be contacted, wants to hire the provider, is eligible for the provider's services, has complete information, or will pay any fee.
CourtForm AI may hide or redact user contact details until the provider completes required workflow steps, including any available conflict-check or acceptance step. Providers must not attempt to bypass contact-redaction, scraping, routing, conflict-check, privacy, or dashboard controls. Providers must promptly decline or close any lead they cannot lawfully or ethically review, contact, service, or accept.
8. Provider Billing, First Month Special, and Lead Charges
Provider subscribers must maintain a valid Stripe-supported payment method before receiving leads or activating paid routing. The provider subscription has a 30-day free period and then automatically renews at $150.00 per month until canceled. The subscription begins on the checkout date, dashboard access and routing eligibility may begin during the free period, and providers may cancel before renewal through the provider dashboard, Stripe billing portal, or another cancellation method made available by CourtForm AI.
The first month special waives only the recurring provider subscription fee. It does not waive lead charges where allowed, advertising charges, Lead Advantage charges, white-label charges, sponsorship or directory-placement charges, payment-processing charges, taxes, chargeback fees, dispute fees, or other charges disclosed during checkout or in the dashboard. Per-lead charges apply only where permitted by the active state policy and applicable law.
Default unrestricted-state lead prices are $65.00 for shared legal leads, $325.00 for exclusive legal leads, and $35.00 for accessory-service leads. Restricted states may use flat sponsorship, directory, subscription, clearly identified placement, or other approved compensation models instead of per-lead billing. CourtForm AI may pause, suppress, or replace per-lead billing for any state, county, case type, provider type, or program when required for compliance review, ethics review, legal change, platform safety, or operational reasons.
All provider subscription fees, lead charges where allowed, advertising fees, Lead Advantage fees, white-label fees, sponsorship or directory-placement fees, setup fees, and other platform fees are final, non-refundable, and not returnable to the fullest extent permitted by law, except where CourtForm AI expressly agrees in writing or applicable law requires otherwise. CourtForm AI does not guarantee lead volume, lead quality, client conversion, case acceptance, revenue, exclusive access unless expressly purchased and confirmed, professional outcome, legal outcome, availability of any particular case type, or availability of leads in any county, language, market, or category.
9. Provider Dashboard Duties
Providers are responsible for keeping dashboard information current, including business name, provider category, coverage area, case-type filters, services, contact methods, lead-reception status, availability, notification settings, payment method, billing details, and any professional credentials shown to users. If a provider is unavailable, not accepting leads, not authorized to provide a listed service, has an expired license, lacks required insurance or bonding, or cannot comply with applicable law, the provider must disable lead reception or update the account immediately.
CourtForm AI may suspend, limit, redact, pause, remove, or terminate provider access, routing, advertising, profile visibility, billing features, or lead delivery for suspected nonpayment, chargebacks, disputes, inaccurate profile information, user complaints, licensing concerns, conflicts concerns, privacy concerns, unlawful conduct, platform abuse, security risk, or any conduct CourtForm AI believes may expose users, providers, courts, or CourtForm AI to harm or liability.
10. Premium Infrastructure Usage Credits
White-label subscribers enrolled in eligible Premium or Elite infrastructure tiers may receive non-cash software subscription credits based on qualifying accessory-service platform activity generated through the subscriber’s branded portal. Standard White-Label does not include accessory-service software credits. Any infrastructure credit is a discount against future CourtForm AI software subscription fees only. Infrastructure credits are not payable in cash, are not transferable, and do not create any ownership interest, joint venture, partnership, agency relationship, referral relationship, or fee-sharing arrangement between CourtForm AI and the subscriber.
No credit shall be calculated as a percentage of legal fees, client payments, professional fees, settlement proceeds, referral fees, or fees earned by any attorney, law firm, or legal-services provider. No credit is paid or provided in exchange for legal referrals, legal work, client retention, case outcomes, or the furnishing of legal services. Subscribers remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable rules of professional conduct, advertising rules, referral-service rules, solicitation rules, fee-sharing restrictions, client-confidentiality duties, and conflicts obligations in each jurisdiction where they operate.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
CourtForm AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service is error-free, uninterrupted, current, enforceable, or suitable for any particular purpose. Filled forms and assembled documents may contain errors or omit legally required provisions. Users should review every completed document carefully before signing, delivering, recording, or filing it.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourtForm AI shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to court filing errors, missed deadlines, adverse legal outcomes, or reliance on any information provided through the platform.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of CourtForm AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
