1. Information We Collect
When you use CourtForm AI to fill a court form or assemble a text-based document, we temporarily collect: (a) any PDF you upload, (b) your answers to interview questions, (c) your selected language, and (d) the template and output format you select. This data exists only for the duration of your session. We collect your name, email, and phone number so the document can be delivered only to you and, if you separately request provider contact, so limited contact details can be routed according to your consent choice. Provider accounts collect: name, email, phone, billing information (processed by Stripe), and coverage settings.
2. How We Use Information
Session data is used to parse a PDF when applicable, present interview questions, save your answers during the active session, and prepare and email the selected PDF or text document only to you. CourtForm AI only delivers documents to the filer. CourtForm AI does not send legal documents to attorneys, law firms, paralegals, document preparers, or other providers. We do not sell session data. If you request provider contact, only your contact information, location, language, broad service categories, and broad case-type category may be shared with independent providers matched by location, language, category, and your exclusive or competitive routing choice. Completed documents, uploaded materials, answer packets, answers, attachments, summaries, and detailed facts are not sent to providers. CourtForm AI is not a referral service and does not provide legal advice. Provider billing is processed by Stripe; we do not store payment card data.
3. Zero Retention Policy
All B2C session data — including any uploaded PDF, interview answers, generated PDF or text document, and session records — is scheduled for permanent deletion within 1 hour of document completion or session expiration. We do not retain personally identifiable document-assembly data beyond this window. Lead contact information is retained separately for provider routing purposes and is subject to deletion on request.
4. Cookies and Session Storage
We use browser sessionStorage (not cookies) to maintain your session during the form-filling process. This data is cleared when you close your browser tab. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics that identify you personally.
5. Third-Party Services
We use service providers such as Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS notifications), Resend (transactional email), OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure Speech for features such as PDF analysis, interview generation, transcription, literal answer translation, and voice narration. Each provider has its own privacy and security terms. We configure these services to support the CourtForm AI workflow and do not sell your form-session data.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. PDFs, generated text documents, and session data are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Sensitive application access is protected by authentication, service-role separation, and row-level security where applicable. However, no system is completely secure — you use CourtForm AI at your own risk.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your lead contact information at any time by emailing privacy@courtformai.com. Provider account data can be deleted by contacting support. Because B2C session data is automatically deleted within 1 hour, there is typically nothing to delete by the time a request is received.
8. Children
CourtForm AI is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
