1. Information We Collect
When you use CourtForm AI to fill a court form, we temporarily collect: (a) the PDF you upload, (b) your answers to interview questions, and (c) your selected language. This data exists only for the duration of your session. If you opt into lead connection, we also collect your name and phone number. Provider accounts collect: name, email, phone, billing information (processed by Stripe), and coverage settings.
2. How We Use Information
Form-session data is used to parse the PDF, generate interview questions, save your answers during the active session, and prepare the completed PDF or answer packet. We do not sell form-session data. If you opt into provider connection, your contact information and request details may be shared with providers matched by location and case-type category. Provider billing is processed by Stripe — we do not store payment card data.
3. Zero Retention Policy
All B2C session data — including your uploaded PDF, interview answers, completed PDF, and session records — is permanently deleted within 1 hour of your PDF download. We do not retain any personally identifiable information from the form-filling process beyond this window. Lead contact information (name, phone) is retained for provider routing purposes and subject to deletion on request.
4. Cookies and Session Storage
We use browser sessionStorage (not cookies) to maintain your session during the form-filling process. This data is cleared when you close your browser tab. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics that identify you personally.
5. Third-Party Services
We use service providers such as Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS notifications), Resend (transactional email), OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure Speech for features such as PDF analysis, interview generation, transcription, answer cleanup, and voice narration. Each provider has its own privacy and security terms. We configure these services to support the CourtForm AI workflow and do not sell your form-session data.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. PDFs and session data are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Sensitive application access is protected by authentication, service-role separation, and row-level security where applicable. However, no system is completely secure — you use CourtForm AI at your own risk.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your lead contact information at any time by emailing privacy@courtformai.com. Provider account data can be deleted by contacting support. Because B2C session data is automatically deleted within 1 hour, there is typically nothing to delete by the time a request is received.
8. Children
CourtForm AI is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
